Julegaven Christmas tour 2022
Advent is close, and I almost can’t believe another year has passed since my last Christmas tour. Last year was abruptly ended only two thirds into my tour due to mandatory pandemic related restrictions from the authorities. I’m hoping and praying this year will be different.🙏🏼
This year, I have planned a Christmas tour reaching much further north than ever before, and I am thrilled to announce we are doing our opening show in a small town called Fauske - in Fauske church on Nov. 23🤩
With me this year as my special guest artist is Adrian Jørgensen, my good friend and colleague from last year’s Christmas tour. I’m also collaborating with wonderful, local choirs throughout the tour, and in Fauske we are meeting up with ‘Korækte Damer’ who will be joining us for as many as four different Julegaven-concerts in Nordland.
Moving on, we are traveling south, covering the famously beautiful Helgeland’s coast. I’m so excited about that! Moving right along, we are visiting all of seven different cities in Trøndelag county. Ranem Sangforening will be joining us in Skage church, and Trondheim Gospel choir will be joining us for the rest of the churches and venues in Trøndelag.
Finally, we are getting closer to my home turf finishing up the Christmas tour of 30 concerts very close to where I live. Coming home for Christmas has always had a romantic ring to it in my ears🤗
This year’s Julegaven concerts will be filled with both traditional, familiar Christmas carols as well as a few newer songs to celebrate the Holidays. I always strive to leave my audience with a little more than just a concert filled with beautiful music. I want to share something to add to the Christmas spirit, and to take home for afterthought and further discussion. My own personal story - the foundation upon which Julegaven was created - is always a part of my Christmas concerts to invite more people to take part in the true Gift of Christmas.
